Suffering In Homes Built For The Able-Bodied

A harsh reality

Our Injured, Ill & Aging Heroes are Struggling At Home

Many veterans and first responders are struggling in inaccessible homes, accepting their circumstances as part of the cost of service. But every hero deserves to feel safe, capable, and at peace in the comfort of their own home.

  1. Inaccessible Bathrooms

High thresholds, tight spaces, and wet surfaces make the most private and intimate tasks impossible to do alone.

  2. Unusable Kitchens & Storage

With sinks, ovens, and cabinets just beyond reach in their wheelchairs, our heroes lose the most basic act of self sufficiency—feeding themselves.

  3. Narrow Doorways & Hallways

Many live in homes with rooms and hallways too narrow for wheelchairs to safely maneuver, cutting them off from their family and friends.

  4. Stairs & Inaccessible Areas

Inaccessible areas isolate our heroes. Simple tasks like tucking their kids into bed are impossible and affect their mental and emotional health.

Removing The Roadblocks To A Full Life

Reopening Doors

Same Home, New Beginning

For these heroes, obstacles in the home are a constant reminder of their limitations. But these life-changing home modifications can unlock every square foot and restore the home base they desperately need.

  1. Accessible Bathrooms

Extra wide showers, wheelchair-ready sinks, and customizations ensure our heroes can maneuver easily and practice their daily hygiene safely.

  2. Renovated Kitchens

We’re making sure sinks, ovens, and cabinets are accessible to our heroes, allowing them to get back to cooking and sharing meals with loved ones.

  3. Ramps and Lifts

When even the home’s front door is inaccessible, we’re building ramps and lifts to ensure that returning home is always a joy.

  4. Mobility Considerations

Stair lifts, pulldown closet racks, and ceiling lifts provide full mobility throughout the home, including transitions to outdoor spaces.
